Community Support

Committed to Our Communities
Although we are an organization founded by veterans with a strong mandate to support veterans from both the military and law enforcement it is also important to be a leader in our communities and assist others where we can.
Our Community Support Fund initiative provides an opportunity for our employees to request up to $1000 for the local community organizations and events that are important to them.
To date, we have contributed to a number of organizations, including:
- Edmonton Garrison Horticultural Club to acquire rototillers in support of enhancing their community gardening efforts.
- Lamont & District Agricultural Society to help deliver free, family-friendly kids’ activities at their annual rodeo weekend.
- Kimmirut Fitness Program in support of youth physical activity, teamwork and improved school engagement in Nunavut.
- Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada in support of Apryl Murray’s two-day live-stream painting event to raise awareness about the impact of brain tumors on individuals and families, and to honour her personal journey with the illness.
