Commissionaires operate mobile patrols throughout the greater Edmonton area. Each patrol vehicle is equipped with wireless communication, GPS tracking, and guard tour management technologies. Backed up by a 24/7 dispatch capability in our operations center, our patrols can react in a timely fashion. The Commissionaires have a mobile patrol section comprised of GPS enable vehicles that provide alarm response and patrol check services. Each vehicle is outfitted with a two-way radio/cellular telephone communication system and roadside emergency kit. The Mobile Patrol section staff are all Supervisors who can provide backup/relief should a Commissionaire not be available. The Mobile Patrol section is also responsible for conducting no-notice inspections whereby a Supervisor arrives on site unannounced to ensure that the Commissionaire is competent at his post, the client’s needs are being met, Post Orders are being followed and kept up to date, dress and deportment meets standards and ensures that the post area is well organized.

Basic Patrol Services

Patrol officers work out of marked, communication equipped patrol vehicles, and inspect your property regularly as your security needs require. Basic patrol services can include a:

• Visual check and inspection of exterior entrances, door and windows

Enhanced Patrol Services

Enhanced patrol services include the benefit of a physical inspection of interior or exterior windows, doors, and entrances accessible to the outside. Our Commissionaire will also conduct patrols and inspections of sensitive areas, high value cargo areas, or any other area that you have deemed susceptible to lass. If a violation of effective security applications is found, our officers will determine whether a crime has been committed. Local law enforcement will be notified immediately in all cases where there is evidence of criminal activity.

Alarm Response

Even with an alarm in place in your business or residence, you still require a trusted response to that alarm. In most areas, local law enforcement has insufficient resources available to respond immediately. Additionally, most major urban areas now have alarm bylaws in place which allow for increasingly higher fines for false alarms the Commissionaires are a trusted source for alarm response.
