From our Headquarters, Commissionaires offer a variety of identification services. We are one of only two authorized providers of digital fingerprint service on behalf of the RCMP. In addition we can perform traditional ink and roll fingerprints, Canadian Police Information Center (CPIC) checks, as well as Pardon and Waiver services.
We have been engaged in the RCMP's Real Time Identification project from the onset and are nationally certified and accredited by the RCMP for digital fingerprinting. We are the only providers of identification services with ISO 9001:2000 quality standards.
Fingerprinting Services
The Commissionaires, Northern Alberta Division is accredited by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to provide state of the art “Digital” fingerprinting services as an enhancement to our traditional service of “Ink and Roll” fingerprinting. Turn around time for “Digital” fingerprinting has been reduced from a minimum of 120 days to as little at 72 hours. The average turnaround time for digital fingerprints is approximately one week unless a criminal record is determined in which case confirmation is normally completed within 120 days. Turn around time for traditional “Ink and Roll” fingerprinting is minimally 120 days but averages 6 to 9 months.
Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) Check
We also provide electronic police clearances using the National Canadian Police Information Centre database providing results as quickly as 24 -72 hours.
